New York is home to some of the world's most renowned museums, the United Nations Headquarters, the Broadway theatres and Wall Street financial district. You and your students will have the chance to visit them all, as well as the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, Madison Square Garden, Times Square, Brooklyn Bridge, Chinatown and Central Park, which will all provide new experiences that will stimulate and inspire them. We also offer a wide range of educational visits, programmes and workshops, including:
The Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and the Immigration Museum
Taking the ferry from Battery Park, the first stop is at Liberty Island and the Statue of Liberty. Thereafter the ferry will take you on to Ellis Island, the major point of entry for over 20 million Europeans during the peak period of immigration, where you will find the fascinating Museum of Immigration.
United Nations Headquarters
The multicultural mosaic of New York is a fitting setting for the Headquarters of the United Nations, which has been based there since 1947. Guided tours of the General Assembly, the Economic and Social Council and other areas offer an inside look at the fascinating world of international diplomacy.
Wall Street Walking Tour
See the New York Stock Exchange, the Wall Street Bull and the Federal Reserve and hear about the scandals and stock market crashes that have made Wall Street infamous and, crucially, gain an insider's view of what happens behind the scenes on Wall Street.
Frank Lloyd Wright's stunningly designed museum has been a daring addition to Fifth Avenue landscape since the late 1950s. We can offer an interactive education programme in which students enjoy a thematic gallery tour, before participating in a related studio workshop experience, where they create their own works of art in the museum's digital or studio art labs.
